SUBJECT: Christmas, Simeon, Lord’s Coming

CHARACTERS: Simeon, a shepherd, Nathan, a shepherd,

Bartender 

PROPS: two chairs for the shepherds to sit in, two wine

goblets, or fancy glasses that represent wine goblets

SETTING: an inn in Jericho 

Simeon: "Wine, my good man.  Wine for the thirsty

traveler." 

(Bartender brings him some wine.) 

Nathan: "Well, if it isn''t my old friend,

Simeon." 

Simeon: "Nathan, good to see you.  Are you still

tending your flock in Jerusalem these days?" 

Nathan: "Oh, yes, but I''ve left half my flock with

my brother in order that I might bring the choicest ones to sell in the markets

of Jericho.  I''ve heard that the merchants here will pay good money for my

wares.  But what about you?  You look good.  You must have bought the vendor''s

best wine, for you have a glow to y…
