Object: a picture of Mother Teresa

Today, boys and girls, we will talk about the life of a very special living saint who is still shaping the church. Her name is Mother Teresa. I brought a picture of her today so you could see what she looks like.

Mother Teresa is now over 75 years old. She was named after Saint Teresa of Avilia who lived about 500 years ago. Saint Teresa of Avilia taught many faithful church people about prayer. We can put our hands like this (fold hands) because of Teresa of Avilia. We remember that she was able to teach many about meditation and prayer as a nun in the Roman Catholic Church.
