Lesson: O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!

Good morning, boys and girls. Today I want to tell you a story about a man who lived many years ago. His name was Solomon. Did you ever hear of anyone with a name like that? (Let them answer.) Well, Solomon was a king, and he was a very wise man -- one of the wisest who ever lived. When he was first made a king, he asked God to make him wise -- or smart -- and God answered his prayers. Solomon could have worn a hat like this, that's how smart he was! (Hold up hat; place it on head of one of the children.)
