SUBJECT: Christmas 

CHARACTERS: Two clerks (1 and 2), A girl

SETTING: The Lost and Found department at a mall.  The

clerks are talking. 

PROPS: An umbrella, a wallet, a handbag, a lunchbox, a

tennis shoe, a blanket, some gloves and mittens, a pacifier, a date book, and a

beeper.  (If you would prefer, you can use different props, or you can use no

props and rely on the congregation''s imagination.) 

(Clerk 1 is just coming on to the job) 

1: "Hey! How are you?" 

2: "Tired.  It''s been a long morning." 

1: "I bet!  The Christmas season is never

easy." 

(Girl walks up and hands the clerks an item) 

Girl: "Excuse me.  I just wanted to turn this in.  I

found it in the food court.  I guess somebody just left it there." 

2: "Thank you very much.  The owner will appreciate

your turning it in."
