Exegetical Aim: To demonstrate the importance of being a witness

Props: A small bottle of bubbles, and a wand to blow them; arrange for a person in the congregation to blow the bubbles from where he/she is seated at the appropriate time.

Lesson: I want to play a game with you. The object of the game is for someone among you to be a witness. I need a volunteer. Choose someone that is serious minded. Okay. You are my volunteer. The rest of you play the game by turning around and hiding your eyes. When you turn around and hide your eyes, this volunteer witness is going to look around the church to see if anything different is happening. But none of you can look. Are you ready to play?
