Family and friends of the bride and groom and especially you -- __________ and __________ -- on this your wedding day: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen. The journey of life for both of you has taken some rather unexpected turns and detours. The path and the road has perhaps not gone exactly the way that you planned a number of years ago. But, because of the rough spots and because of the turns and because of the detours, the paths of your lives have crossed and intersected. And, it is that, that crossing, that has brought you here before the altar of almighty God on this very special evening.
