There were five kings; joined together to fight for their independence. There was King Bera of Sodom, King Birsha of Gomorrah, King Shinab of Admah, King Shemeber of Zeboiim, and the King of Bela. For the past twelve years, those kings had served the King of Elam, Chedorlaomer. They each ruled their own countries, but they each paid Chedorlaomer for the privilege to do it.
