Good morning, boys and girls. Today we are going to take a look at one of the things that God makes. It grows in a lot of gardens. We hope that by looking at this, we will learn something about God and the way that he works in our lives. I brought with me a pea pod to show you this morning. How many of you have ever seen a pea pod before? (Let them answer.) Inside of this pea pod are some peas. How many of you eat peas? (Let them answer.) Not very many boys and girls eat a lot of peas when they are your age, but when you grow up you will find that you like them and eat them a lot. Which part of what I have in my hand is the good part to eat? (Let them answer.) That's right, the peas on the inside are the things that we like. We usually throw away the pod on the outside.…
