SETTING: In the living room 

Father: "Hey, you two, only three more days ''til

Christmas!  Are you getting excited?" 

Daughter: "Yeah!" 

Father: "Have you finished writing your Christmas

lists for Santa?  If you don''t write your Christmas list, then Santa won''t know

what to bring you." 

Daughter: (slightly joking, playing along for brother''s

sake) "I''ve done mine, Dad." 

Son: "I don''t know what to write.  What did you

write on your Christmas list, Daddy?" 

Father: "Dads don''t write Christmas lists." 

Daughter: "Why not?  Santa won''t know what to bring

you." 

Father: "Santa and I are good friends.  He already
