Object: Make a happy and sad face

Good morning, boys and girls. Do you ever look at yourself in the mirror and make faces at yourself? (Let them answer.) Let's pretend for a minute that you are looking at yourself in a mirror. Can you make a funny face? Can you make a happy face? Can you make a very sad face?

I want to tell you a story about a boy your age who didn't always like himself. When he made faces in the mirror these faces were usually sad faces. Do you ever feel sad about things? At those times perhaps you don't like yourself? (Nod your head "yes" and let them answer.) The boy in my story didn't like himself and he didn't take care of hims…
