Good morning, boys and girls. Have you ever been cold? I mean, have you ever been so cold that your teeth chattered and your whole body shivered? [Let them answer.] That’s cold, and I guess that all of us have felt that way at least once in our lives. It is an awful feeling, and one that none of us likes.

What do you think about when you are that cold? [Let them answer.] I think about warm things so that I con get my mind off being cold. I like to think about being home in front of the fireplace where there are some logs burning brightly. That’s a warm feeling.
