Good morning, boys and girls. How many of you remember the names of Jesus’ apostles? [Let them answer.] Those are not always easy names to remember. Some of them we know a lot better than others, like Peter and John and James. But some of them are hard to remember because we don’t hear them very often. How many of you have ever heard the name Bartholomew or Thadaeus? Not many of you. A man called John wrote a book about a vision he had of God’s world. In that vision he saw a great city coming down from heaven. There were huge stones, which made up the most important part of the wall, and on each of these stones was written the name of one of Jesus’ apostles. It meant that there were only twelve of these stones.
