When you hear the word of the Lord, as we find in the tenth chapter of the Gospel of John, reading only the 7^th through the 10^th verses of that gospel.  ‘So Jesus said again to them, truly, truly I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.  All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not heed them.  I am the door.  If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go and out and find pasture.  The thief comes only to steal and to kill and to destroy.  I am come that you may have life, and that you may have it abundantly.’  Let us pray.
