Good morning, boys and girls. Today is Pentecost Sunday and it is one of the great days in the life of the church. As a matter of fact, today is the birthday of the church. Let's all say Happy Birthday to our church and to all of the Christian churches in the whole world. (Have the children repeat with real enthusiasm "Happy Birthday. ") The church is almost two thousand years old today. Can you imagine being two thousand years old? That is a lot of years.
