Pastor: Behold, God has appointed his Servant, and is well pleased with him!
People: The Servant of God is not always accepted by those to whom God sends him.
Pastor: But God's servant goes nevertheless, even if it means rejection.
People: We have shared in the rejection of Jesus, who came as God's Servant. In penitence, we offer ourselves to be his followers.
