The Gatekeepers: 26:1–19   The gatekeepers, who are also part of “the rest of the Levites,” are now presented. The same bipartite presentation as in the previous subsection is used: first, the genealogical list of the “gatekeepers” (26:1–11), and second, the different positions that were assigned to them (26:12–19).
