This morning we are going to talk about streets in Jerusalem. These streets are like none that you have ever seen before. They are narrow. Some of them are not as wide as a sidewalk and very few of them would be wide enough to drive a car through. The houses where the people live and the stores where people shop are like walls on each side of the street. Only when the sun is right straight above where you walk do you see any sunlight. The streets are made of stone just like the houses, and everything in the city is grey. Around the city there is a high wall that was built for the protection of the people who lived in the city.
