Exegetical Aim: During the storms of life we should have faith because Christ is present.

Props: A squirt bottle filled with water that can produce a straight stream and a mist, and an oscillating fan with adjustable speed.

Lesson: One day Jesus made his disciples get in a boat and set sail for the other side of the sea. The disciples didn’t think that this was a very wise move because the skies were looking kind of black, but they said, “Hey, this is Jesus telling us to set sail and he’s our leader,” so they got in and took off. About half ways across the clouds were getting darker and the wind started to blow. Start the fan on the low setting. It should be set up to oscillate across all the children. And then it started to rain. Shoot several streams of water upward so that water rains do…
