Samuel Beckett wrote a play called Waiting For Godot, waiting for God. It is a two-act play in which two men stand on stage. The only thing there with them is a tree with no leaves. One of the men speaks to the other, trying to talk to him about two thieves on a cross and one being saved. But the other man will not talk about that. In the second act there are a few leaves on the tree. One of the men becomes excited because he thinks Godot is coming. But they never see him.
