Good morning, boys and girls. I'm sure you have all seen one of these before. This is a wheelchair and, as you know, it is used for people who can't walk or are too weak to walk. Today I want to tell you a story about someone who spends all of her life in one of these. You might even know about this special person because books have been written about her and a movie has even been made of her life. Her name is Joni. She is a lovely girl. When she was younger, she was very athletic -- she liked sports and was a good swimmer. However, when she was a teenager, something very sad happened to her.
