The Loving Friend
John 4:1-15

With apologies to Carole King, I'd like to describe my friendship with Jesus Christ in a paraphrase of a popular song:

When you're down and troubled
And you need someone to care
And nothing, no nothing, is going right,
Close your eyes and think of him
And soon he will be there
To brighten up even your darkest night.

You just call out his name
And you know wherever he is
He'll come running, to see you again.
Winter, spring, summer or fall
All you've got to do is call
And he'll be there, yes he will.
You've got a friend.
