Purpose: To encourage children to try new things.
Materials: A candle and a few matches.
Special Preparation: Light the candle and then, with the lighted match near the candle flame and slightly above it, carefully blow out the candle flame. Do not blow out the match. Immediately, place the flame of the match into the smoke of the candlewick. Hold the match about one half an inch from the wick. If you do this quick enough, the flame will jump from the match and reignite the candle.
