Purpose: To help children see the importance of being willing to spend time learning about Jesus.

Lesson: This morning, as always, I came into the sanctuary by way of a door. You also came into the church through a doorway. A door is a very interesting thing. I remember learning a little song in Sunday school, a long time ago, that began:

"One door and only one and yet its sides are two. Inside and outside, on which side are you?" The door is a symbol for making a decision. You may choose to stay on one side; or you may decide to open the door and go through…
