Purpose: To encourage children to use their God-given powers.
Materials: A quart bottle with an opening a little smaller than an egg. (A glass milk bottle is ideal.) A hard-boiled egg with the shell removed. A small amount of paper. A match.
Special Preparation: (You may want to practice beforehand.) Roll or crumple up the paper so that it can be placed in the bottle. Light the paper and immediately push it into the bottle. The paper must be burning in the bottle. Immediately place the egg in the opening. Be sure that it seals the opening to the bottle. As the oxygen is consumed by the fire, the egg will be sucked into the bottle in one piece.
