Good morning, boys and girls. What was the very best thing that happened to you this week? (Let several of them volunteer.) Those are some pretty wonderful things. No wonder you are so happy. Today we are going to share some things that I hope will help you understand what a wonderful God we love and worship.

Sometimes people think that religion is just words. We sing words, we pray words, and we preach words. Coming to church is just a bunch of words. But I don't think that is true, and I want you to know that it isn't true. Loving God and sharing God's world is more than words. St. Paul told some people one day that the good news about Jesus Christ came not only in words, but also in power.
