Good morning, boys and girls! How many of you have ever looked through binoculars? (Let them answer.) What happens when we look through them? (Let them answer.) That's right, binoculars help us see things that are far away. When we hold them up to our eyes, we can see things that are far away; the binoculars make those things look very close to us. We can use binoculars to watch a football game and see the players more clearly.
