Leader: God of power and might, whose nature is always to show mercy, we come before you with many needs.
Congregaton: When the blind beggar, Bartimaeus, heard Jesus approaching he called out, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!"
Leader: Jesus answered him, "Your faith has made you well." And Bartimaeus regained his sight, and followed Jesus.
