Good evening, boys and girls. It makes me so happy to see you in church! Look what I have here. It's a piece of scrap lumber I have left over from a building project. Would you like to hold it? (As many as want to may hold the beam.) What do you notice about it? Yes, it's very heavy and rough. Your hands could get splinters from it if you aren't careful.
