Good morning, boys and girls. Today we are going to do something that we have heard our moms and our dads do lots of times. It is called "sighing." How many of you know how to sigh? (Let them answer.) That's pretty good. Let's all try to sigh. (Sigh with them.) Would you like to do it again? (Make really deep sighs.) What does a sigh mean? (Let them answer.) What does it mean when your father or mother does it? (Let them answer.) Sometimes it means that you are tired. Sometimes it means that you are excited. It can mean that you are sad or happy. It is a wonderful way of telling someone else how you feel when words cannot tell it.
