Good morning, boys and girls. Today we are going to talk about servants and how they can become great. There aren't many servants today like there were a long time ago. Long ago there were people who worked for other people in their homes and lived where they worked. They waited on tables, took care of the gardens, did the cooking, and washed the clothes. Today there are not many people who have servants like that, and so it is hard for us to understand what a servant really does.

Jesus said that a man must be a servant to other men if he is going to be great. That was a new teaching. Most people thought that the great man was the person for whom the servant worked, doing the things that we talked about. But that is not the way Jesus thought about a servant. Jesus…
