Call to Worship
(responsively) God's face shines upon us in Christ. Turn your face up to him in joy. Jesus shows God's way in the earth. Come to God on that path. The Spirit is God's saving power among all nations. Be uplifted by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

Prayer of Confession
Giving God, Uniting God, Indwelling God, we are forgetful of the price you have paid for us in the dying and rising of your Son, Jesus Christ. We sin against our own body and yours when we are not mindful that these bodies, individually and collectively are shrines for your Holy Spirit. Forgive us if we live too much for food and drink and sex, not disciplined by the Spirit. Save us from all deadly sins by the power that raised Jesus from the dead through your Spirit within us. Amen.
