Exegetical Aim: To teach the need for Christ's peace to rule in our lives.

Props: A chess set.

Lesson: Good morning. Did you all have a nice Christmas morning? (response) What are some of the things that you received? (response) Well, this morning, I want to talk to you about the gift of a king. Jesus is our king. And when he was born in Bethlehem, the king of the universe was born. Now when he was born, did he come with a lot of soldiers? (response) Did he walk around and give a lot of orders? (response) No. He came peacefully, didn't he? He was just a little baby.
