Call to Worship
Pastor: As we enter the Lenten Season, we become more aware of our religious conduct.
People: It is true we are more conscious of self-denial, church attendance, even fasting.
Pastor: Zechariah re-echoed the message of the prophets before him, and we need to hear it today: God prefers righteousness to religious rites.
People: May our expressions of faith bring glory to God, instead of being rituals of self-righteousness.
