Now will you hear the word of the Lord as you find it in the 5th chapter of Paul’s second letter to the Corinthians.  The 5th chapter of the second letter to the Corinthians, beginning with the 14th and continuing through the 21st verses, the end of the chapter.  This is the word of the Lord.

“For the love of Christ controls us, because we are convinced that one has died for all, therefore, all have died.  And he died for all that those who live might live no longer for themselves, but for him who, for their sakes, died and was raised.  From now on therefore, we regard no one from a human point of view.  Even though we once regarded Christ from a human point of view, we regard him thus no longer.  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.  The old has passed away.  Behold, …
