Good morning, boys and girls. This is our last lesson about water and the way God used water to teach us to believe in him and how to live. Today we find Jesus in a place called the Upper Room. He had gathered together with his disciples to enjoy a final meal before he was arrested and crucified. After he had eaten, he took a bowl of water and a big towel. He knelt down in front of each disciple and washed their feet. A couple of them let Jesus wash their feet, but when he came to Peter, he would not let him wash his feet. Peter thought Jesus was too good to wash his feet. I want to explain to you what Jesus answered.
