A few years ago, Dr. Billy Graham was asked about his friendship with then recently deposed Richard Nixon. Graham had been something of a court chaplain during the Nixon years -- a frequent guest at the White House, deliverer of state prayers, conductor of private services on Sundays in the East Room for the President, his family, and staff.
