PRAYER OF CONFESSION
God of death and life, of tragedy and comedy, of sorrow and joy, we confess our dismay at the grief and accident that you permit to happen in this world. We question the accident happening to the person whose intentions seem to be good and the good fortune that seems to attend those intent on mischief. We can not understand why some are healed miraculously and others are allowed to suffer almost endlessly. Forgive us if we permit our doubts to threaten our commitment to you through Jesus Christ. Amen.
