Wise God, forgive our foolish preoccupation with things that don't matter. We are reluctant to open our minds to new ideas and broader views. We are content to love you with less than all our minds. We resist the discipline of study and sharing and self-evaluation that could help us to grow in wisdom like your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
