Prayer of Confession
Patient God, you still wait for us to sort out our priorities. We are often busy with trivialities avoiding confrontation of the essentials. We are bemused with the incidental and not attentive to the eternal. Forgive such preoccupation with what distracts us from your presence and does not prepare us for ultimate communion with you and yours. Amen.
