It’s hard to say “Good-bye.” I’ve moved a few times while in the ministry, and it’s never easy. It can be exciting to begin a new chapter and go to a different place, but the “good-byes” are tough. Even though we live in an age where video technology and smart phones have brought people together a whole lot more, hugs and smiles still mask the sad reality that it may be a long time before you actually see those you’ve loved again.
While “good-byes” are hard when people are simply moving, “good-byes” are exceptionally difficult when we’re faced with the finality of death.
