P: God our deliverer: We praise and thank you for saving your chosen people by commanding them to observe the Passover and place the lamb’s blood on their doors. You also save us through Jesus, our Passover Lamb, whose shed blood makes us righteous in your sight and offers us forgiveness of sin. God of mercy:

C: Hear our prayer.

P: God our deliverer: As you led the ancient Israelites out of slavery into freedom and a land of promise; deliver and lead all peoples today out of their various forms of slavery into freedom. May we, like the psalmist of old, offer to you a thanksgiving sacrifice and call on your name O Lord, and serve you faithfully all our days. God of mercy:
