Good morning, boys and girls. do you ever get mail? (Let them answer.) When does that happen? (Talk about it.) That's right. We get cards and letters when we have a birthday. Or sometimes we get a card from somebody, like our grandparents, or a good friend who lives somewhere else, or maybe a relative like an aunt or an uncle, just because they want to write and say hello. They might send us one of these. (Show them the greeting card. You might want to read them the message.)
