Object: picture of a rooster

Good evening, boys and girls. I’m glad to see so many of you here again. I have another picture for you to add to the little mini-banner that I gave you last week. It’s a picture like the second one up there on the big banner here in church. Last week we talked about the first picture, the serpent. What kind of creature have we added now?

A chicken? No, unless you would call it a "Daddy" chicken. It’s a male chicken, and we call it...? That’s right, a rooster. Have you ever heard a rooster crow early in the morning? If you have ever lived on a farm, or visited one, you probably did hear a rooster crowing.

Now can anyone tell me how a rooster is like an alarm clock? Right, they both tell us to wake up. When a rooster crows, it’s like an alarm clock that rings…
