Good morning, boys and girls. I want to tell you a story this morning, and I hope it will help you to believe something wonderful about the person we know as Jesus.

Jesus was invited to a wedding in a town called Cana. The people to be married were either close friends of Jesus, or of his family, because we know that his mother was at the wedding, too. Jesus came to the wedding with his disciples and met his mother there. The disciples were fairly new, since Jesus had just begun his ministry a short time before. They had not been at the wedding very long when the people who were in charge ran out of refreshments.
