Good morning, boys and girls! This morning I brought with me a letter from a friend who lives in (city, state, country). That's far away from here. How many of you have friends who live far away? (Let them answer.) Do you write back and forth? (Let them answer.) Letters are fun to get because people tell you what they are doing while they are away from you. My friend tells me about his family, his job, and about his church in (city, state, country). I really like to get his letters. It would be nice to visit my friend sometime soon.
