Good morning, boys and girls. How many of you like to sing? What is your favorite song? (Response -- Give time for some enthusiastic responses.) If we allowed everybody here today to tell us what their favorite song is, I expect that there would be almost as many favorites as there are people here. Why do you suppose we have favorite songs? (Responses will be varied.) Yes, because they have very special meaning to us, or because they remind us of a very special event in our life, or sometimes for the simple reason that we like the tune.
