Rainer Maria Rilke's was a famous German poet and correspondent with an aspiring American poet. The letters were published in a book titled, "Letters to a Young Poet?" In the letter the "young poet" has many questions about their art form. Rilke doesn't mind. In fact she relishes the questions and says to the young poet: "Love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Live the questions now. Perhaps then someday far in the future, you will gradually...live your way into the answer."

Live your way into the answers. I love that. It's good parenting advice. It's good advice for you and me. We don't have all the answers and life, no matter our age, produces all kinds of questions. Live your way into the answers to those questions.
