Object: You will need a "lifesaver" candy for each child.

Say: How many of you have ever watched a little baby learn to walk? . . . They kind of toddle around with their arms out like this, don't they? (demonstrate)

Often their Mother or Dad will get down on the floor a distance away and encourage the little toddler to come. They hold their hands out and say, "Come here, (any name)."

What does the toddler do? Who do they watch? . . . That's right. They look right at the person who is there encouraging them. He/she looks at that person and toddles to them.
