Purpose: To encourage children to share.

Materials: A candle and a jar. The jar should be large enough so that it can be placed over the top of the candle when it is lighted.

Lesson: Jesus said, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 5:16) A person's life is like a candle. The candle can be very useful in a dark room as it gives off light. It is doing what it was created to do.
