(Unison) O God of all people and places, you are present within this room, within our lives, within our hearts. But we are self-centered, seeking our own way, claiming and clinging to things as if they were more important than that which you give. While we seek to live at peace with all, O Lord, we often fail to stand up for what is just and right.
